Kamp Kidd, for kids pre-school through 5th grade, takes place on Wednesday evenings from 6-8pm. Dinner with Chef Frank begins at 6:00pm followed by crafts, activities, large group, small group, and special events. Kids have a blast and learn that the stories of the Bible still have meaning today. Kamp Kidd is staffed by a large volume of creative adults who love working with kids. Though we don't meet regularly during the summer, special activities are planned to keep kids connected. All of our staff have undergone background checks, to ensure that your children can have fun in a safe environment. For more information, contact Kris Garrett.
On Sunday mornings we provide special opportunities geared toward the learning level of children during both our services. Promiseland is for kids preschool through 6th grade. We endeavor to demonstrate God's love to our children and show them that learning can be fun. Nursery care is provided for the youngest among us. We have a dedicated and loving staff of adults who have all been background checked for the safety of our children. For more information, contact Brian Stroup or Kris Garrett.
Each summer we invite children of our community to enjoy a week of Vacation Bible School (VBS) geared around a particular theme. This year's theme involves a Safari and will be an exciting adventure. Children will experience activities, crafts, snacks, stories, and tons of fun. Adults who love kids, and are background checked, look forward to making this a memorable and meaningful time for every child. VBS 2009 will take place June 15-19. For more information, please contact Kris Garrett.
On Wednesday evenings during the school year Middle School students are invited to The Zone from 6-8pm. Students gather in small groups and large group with a staff of six leaders who care a whole lot about them. Sometimes it's a bit crazy, but it's always a lot of fun. During the summer, The Zone meets at an alternate location which usually involves water. On Sunday mornings at 9:00am, during the school year, Middle School students gather to study the basics of the Christian faith in a fun and informative format. Donuts are usually involved. For more information about The Zone or Confirmation, contact Marty Garrett or Kelly Draheim.
Senior High students are an important segment of our church family. They meet on Sunday nights to explore issues of faith and life and to have fun with each other. There are numerous opportunities for adventure throughout the year. This summer our high school students are taking a trip to Knoxville for a large youth gathering with other students from around the country. For more information, contact Marty Garrett.
